ESAR 2014 Racer Information Package Now Available

Dear ESAR Racers,

Hard to believe that Race Day is only a little over 4 months away - the photo below was taken from a county road just south of the host site in Paisley.  Could make for a very interesting Spring scouting session if it's a late thaw!  Come on winter, give it up already!

Many thanks to ESAR team member Petra U for the image.

ESAR Racer Information Package

Despite the piling snow and the lagging winter, we've gone ahead and posted the 2014 racer information package. Featured inside are all the details related to this year's event, including the Race Day itinerary, course notes, the mandatory gear list, and a directory of local accommodations.  Note that we will be starting the Full ESAR and ESAR-Lite courses at the same time this year, but hosting an earlier/separate ESAR-Lite awards ceremony.

This is mandatory reading for all team members prior to June 14th, so please take a moment by clicking here.

AR Feature in the Latest Issue of Get Out There

The February Race & Event Guide of Get Out There Magazine boasts not only an entire year's worth of event listings for every race type imaginable, but it also includes a great feature on the "birth, death and rebirth" of adventure racing in Canada. Co-written by past ESAR racer Peter Dobos, the story also touches on the Ontario Adventure Racing Points Series (OARPS), of which ESAR is a featured event.
