ESAR 2013 - Registration Now Open!

November 13, 2012

Dear ESAR Racers,

The site of the 2013 Emergency Services Adventure Race is now fully confirmed! On Saturday June 15th, the eleventh annual ESAR will be hosted from Beaver Valley Ski Club in the majestic Grey Highlands/Blue Mountains region.

Roughly a half-hour southwest of Collingwood, this area is abound with the most ideal of AR-style terrain features, including fast and fun singletrack riding, vast tracts of open land, extensive trail systems and lotsa-lotsa scenic and rewarding checkpoint locations.  We've done extensive fieldwork over the past month to create custom-designed supplemental maps of the trekking and mountain biking sections for both the ESAR and ESAR-Lite racecourses, and we're absolutely thrilled with all that we've discovered.  Lock the date into your calendars now - this is an ESAR you don't want to miss!

Registration Now Open!

Just to show how seriously excited we are for the season ahead - registration for ESAR 2013 is now open at www.esar.ca  This includes both online and offline sign-up options - the former offers the convenience of instant registration confirmation; the latter enables you to skip the online processing fees. Don't forget that only the first 200 racers to register receive official ESAR race souvenirs (the details of which are coming soon!)

Forget those goofy U.S-based obstacle races that will be around only as long as the fad lasts - no challenge is greater and no sense of team comraderie is stronger than that which comes from a full day of adventure racing.  ESAR is a 100% Canadian "made-for-racers-by-racers" event - we hope that you'll join us as we bring you the 11th annual edition of Canada's first and only adventure race event dedicated to emergency services personnel.
