Hello Students and Parents.   

Welcome back to school for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Newport Harbor High School continually seeks to address the needs of our students in order to provide the best possible education and guidance for all. As a result, the Counseling Department has examined caseload size, and effective August 28, 2013 counselor assignments are as follows:

Students, grades 9-12, whose last names begin with

                        A-E                              Ms. Govaars

                        F-L                              Mr. Princeotto

                        M-R                             Ms. Nguyen

                        S-Z                              Mrs. Crossen

English Language learners and students in the AVID program will continue with Mr Minardo. In addition, Mr Minardo will work with the RSP and SDC case carriers to provide services to students in these programs.

Mrs. Glenn, located in the College & Career Center, will remain the College and Career counselor. Of course, all NHHS counselors are available to assist their students with college and post-graduation plans. However, Mrs. Glenn is an additional resource for students preparing for higher education as well as those enrolled in a Career Technical Education pathway
