2013 Drama logo Pajama Game

The award-winning Newport Harbor drama department will present its spring musical,
"Pajama Game," in a few weeks (
May 9th, May 10th, and May 11th
at 7:00 PM
in the Robert Wentz Theater, Newport Harbor High School -
May 11th matinee at 2:00 PM.)

This delightful musical comedy tells the story of Babe Williams, a union leader at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory.  She is trying to get a 7 ½ cent raise for her co-workers, but the factory owners are not budging.  To complicate the plot, Babe falls in love with the handsome new superintendent, Sid Sorokin.  Will Babe be successful in her campaign for a raise, or will she be side-tracked by the call of romance?  To find out you will need to buy a ticket, but we will guarantee you will laugh your socks off as you enjoy some exciting musical numbers.

Don't miss out - go on-line today to

https://tix4.seatyourself.biz/webstore/webstore.html?domain=nhhsdrama&event=

Absence Phone Line:
When your student is absent, please report it.
Call (949) 515-6305

Just a reminder that no student will be released from school over the telephone and no early dismissals will be issued over the telephone. The parent/guardian should send their student to school with a note to obtain an Off Campus Permit. The student needs to give their note to Attendance before school or at break.

In the event of an emergency, a parent/guardian must come into the Attendance Office and sign the student out of school. The Attendance Office will not telephone classrooms to have students excused from school out of respect for instructional time.

If a student becomes ill while at school, the student should not call their parent. They should instead go to the nurse's office. The nurse will call home for the student.

Thank you to all Newport Harbor parents and students for your understanding and your cooperation.
