ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS!
WORK DAY
Just a reminder that this Saturday, 4/27 from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm in the senior parking near the baseball field (come any time you can) is our next painting day. It's getting down to crunch time, and we need many hands on deck to make sure we have things done in time. No experience necessary!
Next Meeting: Join us Monday, May 6th at 7:00 pm in the Social Hall! We have many little jobs that need to be done in the last month of planning, many of which can be done at home.

If you have not already done so, please support our efforts to keep our seniors safe for grad night. NHHS has not lost a student to since its inception over 10 years ago! It is important to all parents to keep our students safe and to provide an outstanding and memorable evening for our graduates. Absence Phone Line:
When your student is absent, please report it.
Call (949) 515-6305
Just a reminder that no student will be released from school over the telephone and no early dismissals will be issued over the telephone. The parent/guardian should send their student to school with a note to obtain an Off Campus Permit. The student needs to give their note to Attendance before school or at break.
In the event of an emergency, a parent/guardian must come into the Attendance Office and sign the student out of school. The Attendance Office will not telephone classrooms to have students excused from school out of respect for instructional time.
If a student becomes ill while at school, the student should not call their parent. They should instead go to the nurse's office. The nurse will call home for the student.
Thank you to all Newport Harbor parents and students for your understanding and your cooperation.
