Summer is upon us and that means hot temperatures and hot deals from Lofty. We are very excited to introduce two new services - Thai Massage Therapy and Cellulite Reduction Massage. Fight off Humid Hair ! 
Whether you have curly or fine hair, the summer days are approaching, along with the brutal
humidity that comes with it. So to fight off those frizzy, flat summer days, Lofty is setting out on a mission to help all of you cope with problem hair.
Now that the humidity has arrived, most curly-haired women are beginning to find that their hair has taken on a "bell-shape" form. That is the first indicator that your hair is due to be re-layered for the upcoming summer.
The most important process of managing your hair in the summer is hydration!
Curly hair will frizz if it isn't hydrated enough. The hydration method prevents the cuticles from opening to absorb moisture in the air. Using Phyto 7 or Phyto 9 hydrating botanical cream twice a day will prevent split ends and calm static.
Don't forget to stop by and get your Hold-On Gel for the summer!
After applying the Hold-On Gel, comb your hair with a fine-tooth-comb to distribute the gel and scrunch your curls. Then leave it alone until it dries completely.
Fine hair has its challenges with humidity as well. Unlike curly hair with its frizzy complex, fine hair actually flattens. So my recommendation for you is to use fewer products, which will make all the difference in the world. A body wave is a popular service for fine hair, and is often used in the summer for volume. Also try Living Proof shampoo and styling cream.

Lofty's Newest Local Jewelry Designer!Láki Beads by Dianna 'Deedee' Abilmona 
It wasn't until very recently that I found what it is that I wanted to be when I grow up - a jewelry designer.
-Fashion has been my passion from as early as I can remember. Playing dress-up with my mom's clothes, shoes, and jewelry was my favorite thing to do.
As I grew older, my fashion state of mind became more intense. So I decided to pursue my-bachelor's degree in Fashion from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I worked at Nordstrom's at Tyson's Corner Center as well, and visual merchandising and personal shopping was an everyday thing for me and I enjoyed it.
Fashion, fashion everywhere, but where to start? Clothes? No. Shoes? No. Jewelry??? YES! It is true what they say about shoes completing an outfit, but jewelry is the icing on top! Whether it is vintage jewelry, diamonds and precious stones, or play jewelry, everyone needs some body armor to dazzle their outfits with. This is where my line of fun, funky, and glamorous arm candy comes in.
Láki (lá-key), Arabic for 'yours', is a line of bright, energetic, and hip bracelets for anyone wanting to add some glam to their outfits. I hope you enjoy Láki beads as much as I enjoy making them!

* Cellulite Reduction MassageCellulite is caused by lymphatic congestion. The first step in healing cellulite is to decrease the load on the lymphatic system. This system is often described as the garbage disposal for your cells. Reducing the amount of "garbage" that comes into the body will result in a direct decrease in the amount of work required of the lymphatic system, and consequently an improvement in lymphatic health.
