Snow on top of the mountains, frost on the windows, red crab apples and piles of bright leaves in the yard for the triplets to play in; what can I say, I love this time of year. After several weeks of downpour, the colors and smells are even more dramatic and a walk through the stores is already pointing ahead to the various holidays. One Alaskan to another, I just want to say, "Have a wonderful fall. They are short but super sweet."
