For some reason this new year already seems busier than usual! I haven't even had time to sit down and put together my goals for the year! Perhaps having five young boys in the house, three of which are 5-year old triplets, might have something to do with it. :-)

I am starting off the new year with a bit of a challenge by entering the Iditasport 100K bike race. It's put on by the folks at Alaska Iditasport who are great customers, and it's also a race we feel excited to sponsor! Their slogan says it all, "The Cowards Won't Show and the Weak Will Die"! I am somewhere in the middle, a bit scared and feeling a bit weak but I'm going to give it my best shot! My goal is to complete the race while having as much fun as possible along the way. I usually hibernate in the winter so getting into "Fat Bike" riding has been a good addition to my staying fit routine, plus my dog running beside me as I ride around the university lakes.
