Happy Thanksgiving!

Lately, I've been humming an old hymn that goes, "Count your blessings, name them one by one..." Those lyrics remind me that counting your blessings is always a good practice to be in. Sometimes I get so busy and focused solely on achieving goals that I forget to savor the journey, the process and especially the people I share it all with.

So I thought I would just take a moment and share a few of the things I am thankful for.

What I am thankful for:

The freedoms we enjoy in this country thanks to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed. These freedoms allow me to share my faith and beliefs without the fear of persecution that other nations are under.

A healthy and loving family - I never imagined having 5 boys and certainly never dreamed up triplets. Although the noise around my house can be a little tough to bear, the joy, energy and memories outweigh any potential hearing loss.

We Launched Kikkan's New Website

Kikkan Randall is an American cross-country skier who made her Olympic debut as a 19 year old at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Since then she has scored the first ever World Cup Victory for an American woman in cross-country skiing and notched two more World Cup Top-tens.

Looking for a life change, Calvin and his new wife Tonya were drawn to Alaska and while they were doing research on employment opportunities Calvin found us! He contacted us and after a few rounds of interviews, we were pleased to ask Calvin Koepke to join our team as a new Web Designer. He is showing great progress in not only learning our methodologies but in his design abilities as well! Calvin, like a lot of us at Sundog Media, is a self-taught designer and web enthusiast, which means he has an eagerness to learn, adapt and readily accept challenges. We are very pleased to have found him down in the wilds of Montana, and of course, we're looking forward to seeing him up here in Alaska! Welcome to the team, Calvin!
