"I've just spent a few hours preparing images to send and want to thank you again for the opportunity," said one person who donated images. "I have been holding the women in my heart and thinking how someone will get that special thrill when she finds a certain image. It's really inspiring!"
And, a mother said, "I just wanted to say that my 4-year-old and I are having a blast with this project. It is such a meaningful way for him to practice his scissor skills, and he is choosing his images with great thought and care. Thank you for including us!"

What I was receiving was so beautiful. I wanted the women taking the workshop to really feel this outpouring of support. Prior to creating their SoulCollage® cards, I asked each of the women to close their eyes and hold a stack of images between their hands. We went into a brief meditation as I shared with them the various stories of the people who sent images from all over the world. I shared how much people cared about them and their healing. Needless to say, there were tears. It was in this energy that we moved forward in creating their unique SoulCollage® cards.
I was drawn to SoulCollage® because I wanted to learn more about myself in a creative way. I became a SoulCollage® Facilitator because it is my passion to help others understand deeply the truth of who they are. The outreach of this project reaffirmed the significance of the many circles of community I have, particularly my SoulCollage® community. People have a deep desire to help others, and I'm very grateful the "Images for Inmates" request helped satisfy that desire.
