Your Weight is Like Your Bank Balance (or you wish it was!)

 

Body handles calories just like bank handles your money!

The more you money you deposit and the less you spend, the balance goes up, similar, the more calories you take (over eating) and the less you use (not exercising) the weight goes up. Simple as that.

 

So how do we manage our bank balance? make a budget: how much you earn and how much you spend, what is your need verses what is want and check the bank balance frequently.

 

Same is true for your weight. Mark each bullet that you are aware of, and if you checked all 5 then you may not need to read further!

  1. you know how many calories you need per day
  2. you know your ideal weight for your height called body mass index (BMI)
  3. you know how many calories you burn when carrying out your daily activities
  4. you know the calorie content food you each
  5. you weight yourself (preferably naked) at least once a week
