PTO General Membership Meeting
TOMORROW - Thursday, May 23rd, 8:30am, TERC
 Please plan to attend the PTO Spring General Membership meeting this Thursday at 8:30am in the TERC (note location change from previous announcements.) All are welcome.
Our PTO holds only two general meetings each year (one in the Fall, one in the Spring.) At this meeting, we will vote on three important issues - the preliminary budget for the 2013-14 school year, the proposed slate of PTO Board members for next year, and proposed changes to our bylaws.
We will also have a special guest, Chief Learning Officer, Allison Liner, who will speak about the Common Core Standards and the Smarter Balanced Assessment that will replace the STAR tests.

- 8:30 - Welcome, introductions, enjoy coffee
- 8:40 - Brief recap of this year's PTO highlights, challenges, and proposed changes
- 8:50 - Presentation of nominated Executive Officers Slate for next year and proposed bylaws Changes for vote
- 8:55 - Review of Preliminary budget for 2013-2014 year
- 9:00 - Presentation of Common Core Standards and the Smarter Balance Assessment by District Chief Learning Officer Allison Liner
