April 17, 2013
|
Event is Friday, April 19th, 5:30-7:30pm
- Science: Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science will bring it's acclaimed "Build It!" workshop for amazing hands-on science fun. Expect a carnival atmosphere as participants move from one activity station to another, working independently or with a partner. The room will be filled with students constructing, designing, predicting, calculating, and discussing. Click here to learn more about this super fun workshop.
- Pizza: Pizza and salad will be available for purchase at the Hot Lunch counter (while it lasts) or you can bring your own picnic to enjoy with other Encinal families. Please email Katie by tonight at 11pm if you plan to buy pizza or salad to help plan quantities as closely as possible.
- Bingo: The small multi will be transformed into a rockin' Bingo Hall for all-you-can-play-Bingo.
Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers to help with the Science event from 5-6:30 and from 6:30-7:30pm. We also need help serving pizza/salad throughout the event. If you can help, please email
Bring in Your Newspapers: We need newspapers for the Build It! workshop. Please bring in a grocery bag full of newspaper to the school office now through Friday instead of recycling it this week.
Food Planning: To help us order the right amount of food, please email Katie to let us know if you're planning on ordering pizza and/or salads. We will have pepperoni and cheese pizza for $2/slice and Caesar salads for $3 per plate. Cash only, please.
Hope everyone can join us for a night of fun, food, and learning!
