Weekly Commute Tips
If your kids get out at 3pm, please arrive no earlier than 3 to pick them up. When cars arrive too early, this creates a dangerous traffic back up on Encinal Avenue.
- When walking with your children, please use crosswalks. Crossing mid-block is unsafe.
- Do you know the one-finger rule? There shouldn't be more than one finger's space between your eyebrows and your bike helmet, and you shouldn't be able to fit more than one finger between your chin and your strap. Check your kids' helmets as well as your own!
For more commute tips, contact Kathy Schrenk to sign up for Transit Notes: kschrenk@mpcsd.org.
