 Dear Encinal Families,
As the week of Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded to pause and give thanks for family, friends, and good fortune. We are also reminded that some families in our own community are in need.
At Encinal, over 50 families need help providing food for their families during the Thanksgiving and December holidays. Please consider making a gift of any size to the Caring & Sharing Holiday Drive by this Friday, November 16th to provide Thanksgiving support for Encinal families. (We will need additional donations for the December holidays, too.)
To date, we have raised just over $500. As we are trying to provide grocery gift cards for our 50 families, we hope more Encinal families will be able to give before the end of day tomorrow. All donations will go directly to our families in need.
To make a difference for an Encinal family this Thanksgiving, you can:
- Drop a check payable to Encinal PTO in the office box marked "Caring & Sharing,"
- Place a Trader Joe's or Safeway gift card in the office box, or
- Donate online via Paypal.
