It's January and the beginning of a new year. So, with this fresh start, we're looking forward to what 2016 will bring. Our resolution is to bring you the best plants for your gardens and homes and a place to come that offers good advice with a smile.

January also brings cheerful primroses to brighten the sometimes gloomy winter days. We like to put them in simple pots as gifts, or to liven a room. Please understand, though, they're not considered a houseplant, so they won't live inside indefinitely. Keep them as cool as possible and just moist for the best results. 

If you haven't purchased bulbs to add to your garden beds or pots, there are still some available, and they/re now 50% off. It's not too late to plant, and the rewards are great for a small amount of effort.
