Here's the Scoop
November 19th, 2015
Thanksgiving is a week away, and we are indeed thankful for all the blessings of family, friends and community, and will be closed that day to celebrate.
The market is filled with all kinds of foods for the upcoming holidays, including fresh pecans from Shelby County. These are the best, either for eating out of hand or for baking. Get them now and freeze them for later!
We also have beautiful persimmons, Meyer lemons and satsumas from Petals from the Past in Jemison. If you've ever been there, you know they grow some of the best fruit in the area. The ladies in the Seven Winds kitchen have been busy baking cookies and brittle, as well as their signature cheese hooies too. Talk about not being able to eat just one!
The Christmas trees arrive next Wednesday, and we'll begin setting them up the day after Thanksgiving. We look forward to helping you with your tree, and remember we also make mailbox decorations too. In fact, all the fixings for your holiday can be found here including garland, wreaths, and bunches of greenery. It's a magical time in the nursery!
Cindy Miller from Lion Ribbon is looking forward to coming this Saturday, November 21st, from 10am-noon to demonstrate bow making. Stop in that day and learn something new! Look HERE for details.
Thanks for reading, and we'll see you soon.
