What a relief it's been to have a drier week, and many of you have taken advantage of it, getting your annual plantings started. We're beginning to stock vinca and caladiums now too, real heat lovers.

Succulents like it hot and dry as well. We use them in planters and in arrangements like the one shown in this week's picture. Look HERE for more on succulent plantings.

We sent out a special email earlier in the week letting you know that purple and gold bows will be available today only in honor of Sid Ortis and his battle with pediatric cancer. They're available on a first come, first serve basis and are $15. With each bow, $12 will be donated to Children's Hospital of Alabama pediatric cancer research.
