In our 25 years we've become familiar with the habits of our customers. In the spring there are those who want to get the planting done (maybe a few pots and some annual flower beds) and move on to other activities.  But many of you also take your time, doing a bit here and there, enjoying the process of gardening year round. 

We really enjoy helping all of you, whatever your interest level is, and want you to be successful in your gardening efforts. To help, we work diligently to fill the nursery with plants that we feel will do well in  Birmingham and surrounding areas.

One we'll be offering, as soon as it's available, is a new impatiens called Bounce. It is reported to be immune to downy mildew disease! This is such good news for impatiens lovers (We carry SunPatiens as well, which are also resistant). Look HERE for more information and pictures of this new impatiens. For folks who still prefer to plant impatiens and double impatiens that are susceptible to downy mildew, we will stock some, but you'll notice warning signs on the tables.
