A pretty succulent in the greenhouse...
Here's the Scoop!
July 11th 2013
It's mid-summer, and the living is easy! After our long 4th of July weekend, we're back in business on the produce front, so please come take a look at the fresh summer offerings that are at the entrance to the greenhouse...
Speaking of the greenhouse, it's full of beautiful succulents, and the selection is really good...do you have a sunny table you want a container on? Succulents are the perfect option. A shallow bowl or pot fits nicely on most tables, and a variety of succulents always looks great in low containers!
The posts on the website have slowed down a bit with summer, but you might want to take a look at the living wreath
Jamie made that ran recently...we've just gotten in new wreath forms if you'd like to try your hand at making your own, or we're happy to make one for you if you'd rather! In a shady spot, ferns, trailing plants like ivy, creeping fig and even ajuga work nicely, and, in the sun, the options range from many of the succulents and herbs to annuals that might be available. It's a fun project!
If you'd like to see some of the plantings and arrangements we've done this past spring and early summer, take a look HERE
- we've been busy!
Hope you're all beating the heat! Please stop in if you need fresh produce, plants or just to chat - we'll see you soon!
