Just a reminder to any of you procrastinators out there...it's Mother's Day weekend!! Hopefully you've ordered an orchid, mixed basket or some other special gift for Mom - if you haven't, come in or give us a call today so we can take care of whatever you might be looking for.

  

If you're in the area, remember we deliver and are open today, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5:30 pm.

  

This week we found out one of our smaller growers was closing his business and going to work for another of our larger wholesale growers. To help him out, we purchased all of his remaining tomatoes, peppers and herbs. Sooo....we have a LOT of tomatoes, peppers and herbs! If you're looking for any veggie, now is the time to stop in - we'd love to see them go into your garden.

  

There's a great selection of perennials in the nursery now - read the post on them HERE to find out more. Perhaps Mom is a gardener and would like to add some perennials...a gift certificate might be just right tied on to a pretty plant!

  

Finally, we want to wish Libby Rich of Plant Odyssey well in her retirement. For many years she has  advised and  mentored the community and been an outlet for wonderful plants.  A favorite neighborhood garden shop for many in the Birmingham area, we know her customers will miss her. So, if you or your friends are looking for somewhere to find their plants, advice and a friendly face, we'll try to fill the bill -though we know she's irreplaceable!
