A veteran helping veterans
John Mingo School Certifying Official

John Mingo spent much of the last year of his military career thinking about his future. After 12 ½ years serving active-duty in the Army and another 11 with the National Guard, he knew he wanted to stay connected with the veteran community but didn't know where to start. When his wife became the Director of Financial Aid and they moved to Platteville, he found the opportunity he wanted.

Honoring our veterans this 4th of July
This Fourth of July, we want to pause and thank our veterans and active-duty personnel. UW-Platteville Online strives to provide the best educational experience possible to our military men and women, and our programs are consistently recognized among the top online options for veterans. While we are proud of this achievement, we are far more proud of our students and alumni serving their country. Thank you for your service!
