Dear Fellow Animal Lovers,
Welcome to the new Last Chance Ranch E-News. We hope that you like our new format. 2013 will bring many more improvements to help the animals and save more lives. This year, we would like to hear from all of our previous adopters. Whether you adopted a horse, dog, cat or guinea pig, we want to hear from you. Please submit your Successful Adoption story to Chris with pictures of your adopted pet. We will be choosing 12 stories and pictures to be in our 2014 calendar. Others will be featured in our e-news. Please tell us how much our adopted pets mean to you and how you helped save their lives by adopting. Please refer us to a friend that may be looking for a new pet. We have many horses, dogs, cats, and right now cockatiels that are looking for a new home. Please visit our website for a listing of our available pets.

Adoption Corral
Gabe & Gordon
Gabe and Gordon are both Pitt or Amstaf mixes that found their way to us from Easton Animal Control. These boys are the gentlemen of Pitt mixes and are very well behaved. They do keep their kennel clean, so we believe that they are housebroken. They are also very friendly to everyone and love to be snuggled. The boys appear to be about two to three years old and we think they have been together their whole lives. While they do not have to get adopted together, we would like to see them stay together so we are offering a special adoption fee for the two of them to go together. Their adoption fee has been lowered to $147.50 for the pair. That is 75% off to keep them together.
If you know someone that has been looking for a pair of new canine companions, please foward this to them. |

Successful Adoptions
Sheeba the Shepherd
Today has been a complete blast with Sheeba!! We love her to pieces.
My son actually wanted to take off work tonight to spend time with her! We have had a few visitors today. No problems at all. Sheeba was friendly in every way. She is now barking at noises that she hears outside as well as when someone knocks on the door. She is really settling in fast. She cuddled with me on my bed earlier and fell asleep while I rubbed her belly. She also played ball for a while with us. She seemed to enjoy it but I think she was distracted by the smell of dinner cooking in the kitchen.I will not give her people food. I have always been strict with that with the exception of a little plain beef here and there. I plan on keeping her given name. I know a lot of people change the dogs name. She knows it and responds well to it. I see no reason to change it :)
Here are a few pictures!! Thank you so much!!!

LCR Chronicles:
We have had many dogs of different breeds come to our rescue this month, many have been adopted and we still have many more that need homes. Some come in matted or with various issues that need to be addressed before they can find a new home. Here are two very special dogs that have found their way to LCR this month. Pepper is a very sweet black and white shih tzu mix that actually came into us via Animal Control in Philadelphia. He was severely matted and appeared to have had some kind of head trauma that left him unable to stand. As you can see Pepper is 100% better. He is still on medication, but is now ready for a new home. Charlie is a chow mix puppy that just arrived today with mange and severe skin infections. He will be quarantine and treated for a few weeks and should be a completely new puppy once he is all healed up. Please stayed tuned for the next LCR E-News with pictures of his progress. All of these rescues are made possible by donors and adoptors like you. We have a coupon down below that you can foward to all your friends that may be looking for a new best friend. Please see some of the adoption specials we have to help them get a new home. You can help in many ways too. We have been nominated to win a years worth of free advertising to raise more awareness in Bucks County about our organization, but we need your help to win. You do not need to have a Facebook account to vote for us in this contest, but they only allow one vote per email address. Please vote for us today and ask all of your friends to vote.
