Good News from Your Conference Minister Search Team!
The Missouri Mid-South Conference Minister Search Team is very pleased to report to you that we are prepared to recommend a highly-gifted, well-qualified, enthusiastic candidate to be our next Conference Minister! After 21 months of extensive research, Conference profile preparation, review of 31 submitted profiles, hundreds of hours of meetings, numerous interviews, national church networking and a thorough vetting process, we are unanimous in our belief that we have found the right person to lead our Conference into the future. Our candidate agreed last Monday to accept our invitation to bring a recommendation to the Conference Council for review and vote, and then to a specially-called meeting of the full Conference to present the candidate to you for introductions, vision-sharing and a vote to extend a call to serve.
The Search Team begins this next week to prepare introductory information about the candidate. As it is appropriate to do so, following a Conference Council interview and vote, and before an all-Conference meeting, we will make that information available to you and share with you why we are so excited about Missouri Mid-South's next chapter! Meanwhile, dates for presentations and votes are in the early discussion stages.
Please continue your wonderful level of trust and support of this Spirit-filled work we share. Your prayers have been, and will continue to be, a great strength to us as we go forward together. Thank you!
The Missouri Mid-South Conference Minister Search Team,
Lorin Cope, Wayne Hoffman, Elaine Hudson, David Mehl, Laura Mignerone, Linda Stenger, Sonya Vann, Lloyd Viehland and Karen Watson
