St. Philip's UCC at 10708 Lavinia Drive, Affton, Chili Supper
Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. You can have your chili any way you
like it - plain, with cheese, with onions, with oyster crackers, with hot sauce, over a hot dog or over macaroni. All meals are served with a tossed salad, beverage and dessert.

Tuesday, February 12, 5:30pm-8pm
Columbia UCC 29th Annual Fastnacht Celebration
The event will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2525 N. Stadium Blvd., Columbia (about a mile north of I-70). Bratwurst, German potato salad, and Fastnacht donuts will be served; Der Musikmeisters German Band will perform throughout the evening. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the church office (573-445-7931) or at the door.
Columbia UCC will explore "Lent & Les Miserables" during the upcoming Lenten season. Each Sunday, Rev. Steven E. Swope will reflect on the Gospel reading and a traditional Lenten theme through one of the songs from the recent movie musical. Worship times are 8:05 (informal) and 10:30 (traditional) on Sunday mornings.

Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival Celebration
Samuel UCC will hold their Chinese New Year Celebration at Samuel United Church of Christ, 320 North Forsyth Blvd., Clayton, MO, 63105.
It is the time for us to celebrate this most important Chinese holiday with our Chinese friends who are far away from their home. It also will be a good opportunity for us to learn more about Chinese culture and what God has done in Samuel Church through our Chinese Community Ministry.
This celebration includes making dumplings, Chinese New Year dinner, Chinese cultural and talent show.
We warmly welcome you to join us for this annual event at Samuel, and please bring your family and friends as well. Since the Number 8 is a lucky number in Chinese culture, especially for Chinese New Year, a donation of $8 per person will be greatly appreciated.
