State of the Program

Dear Friends,

We have some good news and some bad news! The good news is that many of the cases that have been slow to process through court and the embassy are coming home. In June, we saw three children come home to their new families, and we expect more next month.

The bad news is the suspension of adoptions by the Ghanaian government is still in effect and we have not learned anything new as to when it will lift.

We hope to have more to report soon and appreciate your patience during this time.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

Sincerely,

Marquita Thompson, Ghana Coordinator
