| Applying For a Ghana Travel Visa |
 Maybe I am spoiled, because you can buy a visa in Ethiopia for $20 at the airport. So when I applied for a visa to Ghana I felt it would be a piece of cake. However, I was wrong! I now realize that you cannot take anything lightly on the visa application. Yes, you do have to have a plane ticket and put the number on the form. Yes, you do need to have names and phone numbers of contacts and hotels in Ghana. And lastly, yes you do need to send a bank statement that shows you have more money in the bank than you say you are bringing to Ghana! All joking aside, our contacts in Washington, D.C. who are the couriers for the visa application say that the process is now taking longer than in the past.
