Atascadero recycled timber frame barn
We are restoring and rebuilding a 24' x 36' barn from up state New York for American Barn and Wood in Atascadero, Ca. The frame was erected September 25, 2014. Rafters and enclosure next. The timber frame in Nevada city was raised in August and the SIPs are well underway. The home is a timber frame SIP hybrid, the center section of the home is a timber frame, the home also has a timber master bedroom, entry and rear porch. Here are a few photos. The first two of the five contemporary SIP homes we are building in Los Angeles are finished. The interest in green building and SIP's in particular is growing and we have three more homes in Los Angeles under construction. Here are a few construction photos of the new ones.  The Mountain View project with stucco completed, dry wall is hung and painted and cabinets and fixtures are being installed. Move in in a few weeks.  The Alvarado project wall and roof SIPs are installed. mechanical is under way and stucco coming soon.
