The Davis Hammer beam trusses were delivered and installed March 1st. They went up with no problems and are now being enclosed. We have permits for two of the new SIP homes in Los Angeles and are cutting the SIPs now in our shop in Paso Robles. We expect to be on site in about 6 weeks.

From what we see here at Pacific Post & Beam the building market is on the upswing. We are seeing a lot of interest in green building and SIP's in particular. Over the next few years we expect to be involved in a number of SIP homes in southern California. The first two we are building are permitted and we see a lot more interest in the area. We are expecting to be on site in about 6 weeks when the foundations are in.

Future projects coming up at Pacific Post & Beam are the new custom SIP homes in Los Angeles, the first one breaking ground in April and a new SIP and timber frame home in Morgan Hill to be built summer of 2013.
The timber frame and SIP home in Nevada City has been postponed until summer 2014, that will give plenty of time for planning.
