In 2008, The City of Taylor Mill introduced educational and recreational programming for residents* age 50 years or older via our "Taylored with Time"  (TWT) Senior Citizen's Program which meets every Wednesday, at Park Place Community Center between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Residents who join the program, at a nominal membership fee of $20.00 annually, have an opportunity to gather at Park Place and enjoy organized exercise programs, educational lectures/presentations, recreational activities including occasional day trips to some fun and exciting local venues**.  

Residents, who are age 50 and older, are encouraged to attend our Open House celebration between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 to learn more about weekly programming, tour the facility, meet staff, get to know existing members, and register for TWT membership if you are interested in participating.

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be working on finalizing the program schedule for the remainder of the 2014 calendar year. In the mean time though program participants can look forward to Exercise Classes; Organized Walks through Pride Park; Pot Luck Lunches; Euchre Tournaments; Bingo Games; Corn Hole Tournaments; Identify Theft Prevention Seminars; Health and Well Being Presentations; Movies; Arts and Crafts Projects; Afternoon outings to Grand Victoria, Sunrock Farms, Taylor Mill Swim Club, and LaComedia.

Our program members have a great time getting to know others in our community who share their interests. We hope that qualifying residents will join us for a "meet and greet" at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Membership Registration will begin immediately following and end at 3:00 p.m.

Stay for the whole day and enjoy the following events and activities:  

  9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. -  Membership "Meet n Greet" with Coffee Hour.

  9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. -  Enjoy games such as corn hole, Wii bowling, Euchre, or Rummy Cube.

11:00 a.m. to   2:00 p.m. -  Music by the Band Everything Jake and a picnic style BBQ lunch.

    2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. -  Door Prizes and Raffle Drawings.

Eligible Participants:         Full Membership - Any resident* who is age 50 or older.

                                         Associate Membership - Any individual who is age 50 or older**

*Proof of Taylor Mill residency is required. Please bring a utility bill or current driver's license with you to registration.

**Associate Members must be sponsored by a Full Member in good standing to participate.

Program Date & Time:      The organization will hold activities every Wednesday, between the    

                                          hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
