Hamilton Chamber Embraces City Building
Business, government and the community at large must work together to advance next generation infrastructure needed to attract and retain talent and investment. That's why the Hamilton Chamber is stepping up its role as a key city building organization focused on improvements in complete streets, transit, cluster development, neighbourhood renewal and the public realm. "These are the building blocks of a prosperous city and the basis of a robust modern economy," said Chamber president and CEO Keanin Loomis. This message resonated at two recent Chamber events devoted to co-creating a better Hamilton: Ambitious City with Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi (pictured above) and the City Manager's Breakfast with Hamilton City Manager Chris Murray.
