HES 2014 Sound Bite
This audio clip from the 2014 Hamilton Economic Summit highlights the growing role of John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport as a driver of local jobs, prosperity and international trade. The two speakers - board chair Ron Foxcroft (pictured) and marketing & communications director Lauren Yaksich - talk about the airport's management model, base of world class business tenants and investors, and effectiveness in delivering revenue to the City of Hamilton. They also provide details of future projects that will add capacity for specialized air cargo services and offer insights on efforts to expand passenger travel. This concise presentation helps underscore Hamilton's unique advantages as a transportation hub for air, water, rail and road. Our thanks to the Chamber's Renew Hamilton Project for providing the recording.
