Roundtable: The Training System is Changing. Have your say.
The way in which workforce training is provided in Canada and Ontario is about to undergo a dramatic change. The federal government is moving ahead with the Canada Job Grant, a skills training program that aims to give employers a more prominent role in training workers. The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities a nd Essential Skills Ontario, are holding roundtable discussions with businesses across Ontario to determine how training programs, including the Canada Job Grant, can be designed to meet the needs of employers. This is your opportunity to collaborate with peers in business and government and play a leadership role in advancing solutions to this crucial economic issue. We want you to be at the table for this discussion.
