Expression of Interest (EOI) System from Citizenship and Immigration Canada Session
You are invited to you to a special session to discuss the future
implementation of a new program from the federal government that will enable you to select skilled individuals from outside of Canada to employ in your organization.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) system, which is set to commence in January 2015, is a great opportunity for Hamilton employers to attract the best and brightest international talent in order to compete and grow our local economy. It's intention is to make immigration more responsive to the labour market needs of the employers in the city, the province and the country.
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce has recently released a report on the EOI system based on feedback from employers in Ontario. In order to have a discussion about the new system and the ways in which the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and community partners can assist your business with regard to this system, please join us at this free session.
Date: April 8th
Time: 8:30 am
Location: Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
Information about the EOI system will be presented by the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford and Workforce Planning Hamilton.
