#HIVEvotes

We have a Municipal Election in 2014, and Hamilton HIVE will be working until Election Day (October 27, 2014) to ensure you are informed and empowered to vote. Hamilton will be electing a new Mayor and members of City Council. This section of the e-newsletter will highlight the latest available information regarding the election, the candidates and the process necessary to get involved.  Hamilton's YPs can make a difference in this election, if we all get out and vote. Please help us promote this effort amongst your networks, and let's see what can happen when #HIVEvotes.

Vicky Toon- Yellow Dog Grooming

Vicky is the Owner & Head Groomer at Yellow Dog Grooming Studios in beautiful downtown Ancaster. She was Managing Director of an Environmental company before making the decision to follow her dreams & open Yellow Dog Grooming. Vicky has created a calm & inviting grooming studio where local dogs can receive exceptional services provided by patient, caring & trained professionals.

"Yellow Dog Grooming grew out of a lifelong love I have for dogs. I was looking for a warm, inviting place within our community where Ancaster's Dogs and Dog owners would enjoy visiting to keep their dogs clean, tidy and happy. I was looking for an alternative to big box grooming and couldn't find the quality of service I was looking for. From this need Yellow Dog Grooming was born."

Vicky attended Pampered Paws Grooming School in Yorkville & Best Friends & Raina's Grooming School in St. Catherines. She is a licensed Bather of Achievement as awarded by the National Groomers Association of Canada & a Certified Companion Animal Specialist as presented by PIJAC Canada. She has also earned her certification in Pet First Aid from St. John Ambulance.

Vicky is married with two children. She has one dog & two cats. She enjoys hiking the trails with her labradoodle Wilson, reading, yoga and spending time with her family.
