CHML Y108 Logo

The CHML/Y108 Children's Fund was established in 1976 with a mandate to assist and fund children's causes and programs in Hamilton/Halton.  All monies are distributed annually to local organizations that cater specifically to the needs of local children.  As recent as 2010, the CHML/Y108 Children's Fund took stewardship of Operation Santa Claus, a charity driven by Jimmy Lomax which we now continue and administer through our board.  The annual golf tournament is one of our major fundraising efforts that supports these community programs.  Please join us at this year's event to be held at Flamborough Hills on July 25th.  Cost of a foursome is $700.  There are also limited sponsorship opportunities available and we can always use items for our silent auction.  Support the fund while you hit the links and spend some time with your favourite AM900/Y108/Fresh FM personalities. Please see attached flyer for more details.

Customers will benefit by solving the problem of assessing and monitoring people with pain, a process that is time-consuming for clinicians, and burdensome to patients. The Pain-QuILT™ will uniquely provide easy-to-interpret visual reports that track the pain experience over time, provide analyzed aggregate data, and will be used to coordinate with other pain providers.

Prevori Flow Control - Prevori Flow Control develops and markets a patent pending valve with a precise variable orifice, hence the name "Prevori", which allows for precise control of flow rates once a precise pressure is applied.

This valve will have many applications but the primary application is the disinfection of drinking water using gravity feed without electronic controls. This will have important implications in the developed world where it will allow us to consume alternative water sources such as cisterns. In the developing or undeveloped world, it will provide access to treated water for potentially billions of people for the first time. www.prevori.com.

Hamilton Terry Fox Run looking for teams to participate
The 33rd annual Terry Fox Run is taking place on Sunday September 15, 2013 in cities and towns across Canada.  The Hamilton Terry Fox Run, which has been happening for many years (and raised more than $700,000!) is taking place at three locations in Hamilton (Gage Park, McMaster University and Hamilton Mountain) .

The Hamilton Terry Fox Runs are a long-standing tradition that has contributed significantly to the cause of cancer research.  Much of the success of the Run is due to teams that participate as part of our "Team Up for Terry" initiative.  Teams are formed by companies, retailers, associations and other groups.  Last year 17 teams participated in Hamilton and raised funds in support of Terry's legacy to find a cure for all cancers.
