Mark your calendars - 6th Annual Hamilton
Economic Summit
The Hamilton Chamber is pleased to present the 6th Hamilton Economic Summit on Thursday May 9 (full day). This year's theme is "Innovation - the art of the possible". The Summit will be hosted at the Careport Facility in the McMaster Innovation Park. The Summit will explore why it's important for business to innovate and discuss how to innovate to stay competitive. The day will include interactive sessions and for the first time, roundtables with City Councillors and senior management team members from the City administration. Watch for your invitation in the coming days with more details on topics, speakers and registration information.

LiON'S LAIR seeking proposals Innovation Factory and the Hamilton Chamber are once again collaborating to host the third annual LiON's LAIR, presented by KPMG. Submissions for the competition will be accepted from March 26 to April 30, 2013. Visit pitch-it.ca in the coming weeks for more information about LiON'S LAIR. Mark your calendar for October 10, 2013 when the gala event will be held where the winners will be unveiled.

President and CEO Position, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
The Board of Directors of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is currently recruiting for the position of President and CEO. This is a leadership position for the largest business association in Hamilton. Reporting to the Board of Directors, through the Chair, the President and CEO is the key staff representative of the organization. The President and CEO is responsible for leadership, strategic and financial direction, and administration of the Chamber, as well as development and implementation of policy and plans that advance the Chamber's vision and mission.
