    Hamilton International Airport:

New Cargo Facility will be built at Hamilton International Airport.  At a media conference held January 10 at the Airport, the federal and provincial governments announced that a 60,000 square foot, $12 million cross-dock facility will enhance Hamilton's transportation infrastructure and provide new jobs in the city.  Commenting at the media conference, Hamilton International Airport's President and CEO Frank Scremin said that the new facility "recognizes the importance of Hamilton as a transportation gateway at both a provincial and national level.  We are very proud to have one of the strongest domestic air cargo distribution networks in Canada; this facility will provide an opportunity to expand upon existing business by allowing a greater variety of goods to be moved through the Airport."
