This week, members arrived at the Town and County hotel in lovely San Diego to participate in the festivities and business sessions associated with the 2014 National Convention. With the current state of affairs of the USPS, the timing for this event could not be anymore perfect.
Opening Ceremonies were highlighted by remarks delivered by Dean Granholm, Vice President of Area Operations, Pacific Area and by the keynote address delivered by Greg Gray of Renaissance Unlimited.
During the course of the business meetings, the delegates also received remarks and greetings from Patrick R. Donahoe, Postmaster General of the United States, Megan Brennan, Chief Operating Officer of the USPS and Jeff Williamson, Chief Human Resources Officer of the USPS. In addition, Mark Strong, President of the LEAGUE of Postmasters and Tony Leonardi, President of NAPUS addressed the membership.
