Video: colorful wind chimes offer intricate work
Individuals in Eagan are creating some attractive wind chimes with creative different bead combinations as ProAct crafts plans to sell them to people who appreciate customized art products that glimmer in the sun and dance in the wind. | ProAct develops wind chimes for sale |
"It's really using fine motor skills," said human service technician Mike Johnson, who supervises production. He creates "jigs" so people with most any disability are able to participate in product assembly.
"There's something compelling about it- they want to stick to it," he said. Rather than running with a set sequence of beads to assemble, individuals craft their own designs with good results, he explained.
