Unloading for FedEx Ground, worker enjoys job, raise, regular support

Hajji would often wear a tie to work at ProAct, even if he was doing janitorial duties, explains his case manager, Dennis Transue.  Some would mistake him for a staff member.

But after working on Eagan crews and with some preparation and training, Hajji is a real staff member at a substantial company, FedEx Ground.  His position as a package handler has offered increases in responsibility, raises and the opportunity for more hours.  "I'm really grateful for what they did to give me a chance," said Hajji.  "For sticking by me and helping me."

Watch for more on Hajji in the upcoming issue of "People Achieving," ProAct's printed newsletter.
