News from the Dairy, December 2012.
Sarah's Musings
Well, it’s happened again, every year I have great plans to be prepared for Christmas by the end of November, probably a little unrealistic I know, but December is upon us and am I prepared? What do you think? No of course I’m not.
So if you’re anything like me and are wondering what to buy loved ones, friends and colleagues, I hope we can help, but first, some news...
A Huge Thank You
We have just discovered much to our surprise that we are one of three finalists in the Sussex Food Producer Category of the Sussex Food and Drink Awards. So thank you all so much for voting for us.
Some Awards
We are also pleasantly surprised to have won some awards at The World Cheese Awards that took place at the Good Food Show. Smoked Ashdown Foresters was awarded a gold medal, Saint Giles, two silvers and Little Sussex a bronze.
An Invitation to help us celebrate on Saturday 8th and Saturday 15th Dec
It would be wonderful if you were able to help us celebrate these achievements by visiting us on either 8th or 15th December, to share some festive cheer, try and if you like to buy some cheese, have a chance to see the dairy and even a chance to try our new cheese, Brighton Blue.
Part of the Horsted Keynes Living Advent Calendar
We are very pleased to be part of this inaugural event, if you visit us on Saturday 15th December, you will have a chance to find ‘the sheep’ and discover its name on that day.
Cheese Hampers. Last Date for Orders Monday 17th December
