Did you know our Shipping & Receiving address is different than our main address? That's right - if you need to send in a truck to pick up an order or deliver an item, you will want to go to our 119th Street entrance at 1900 West 119th Street in Chicago. From there, you will enter our campus to check in, traveling north to your destination. When on our campus, you will see beautifully maintained greens on your left and plenty steel coils on your right.

Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube Announces Investments in Chicago Campus
For those who might have missed it, Leavitt Tube Company announced its name change to Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube, LLC on July 2, 2012. The  name change reflects the ownership position of the company which is 60 percent owned by Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. Now in our fifth month operating under the new title, we continue our investment strategy.
In September, ground broke on the south end of our Chicago campus to facilitate enhancements to the W80 mill, our largest structural tube mill. The upgrades, set to be completed in the first quarter of 2013, will give Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube the capability to produce A53 Grade A, B & C tested pipe and API 5L pipe for the energy industry. The size range for the new line of pipe products will be from 4.5" though 12.75".

Holiday Recipes from our Family to Yours
The holidays are a great time to get together with friends and family - and of course, eat! Tube people Marilyn & Ellen have two outstanding recipes that they would like to share with your families. The Tubeman has personally tasted each and these recipes are out of this world!
Marilyn's World Famous Nut Cups
Dough
1 Small Philadelphia Cream Cheese (3 ounces)  1 Cup of Flour
1 Stick of Butter
Mix & Divide into 24 balls. Form to fit cup
Filling
1 Cup of Ground Nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1 Egg
Mix & Fill Cups. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees
Ellen's Soon to be World Famous Turtles
Ingredients
Square mini butter flavored pretzels 
Rolo candies (unwrapped)
Whole pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 48 pretzels on ungreased cookie sheets. Top each pretzel with one Rolo. Bake at 350 degrees for 2-3 minutes, just until the Rolo becomes soft. Remove from oven. Immediately press one pecan on top of the Rolo & flatten. Let cool. |
