 "Wow, Pencil Point, you look really sad.  Is everything ok?"  I asked her as I walked into the conference room.

 

"Well, you had me get all these samples ready for customers,"  she replied.

 

"Yes, you said you wanted to help...."  I responded.

 

"I don't think you thought about how it would make me feel,"  she said.

 

"I really don't get it, Pencil Point,"  I said.

 

"It's a Twist-Erase Pencil!  It's so much better than me!  It's a pretty blue, not this boring yellow that I am.  Nobody is going to want a regular old Pencil like me anymore,"  she said with tears in her eyes.

This year has been relatively mild as far as the flu goes but now is not the time to slack on cleaning and sanitizing.  It is so important to sanitize!  Make sure you disinfect the items you use most such as phones, desks and keyboards.  On a regular basis wipe down breakroom and bathroom surfaces, door handles and other areas that receive a high volume of traffic.  Make sure that you keep a hand sanitizer on your desk- 15 seconds is all it takes to kill 99.99% of common germs.
