Independence Day
Happy Fourth of July from your fellow Purple Raiders!
Resources on Campus: CWOC
The Center for Writing and Oral Communication (CWOC) offers support to Mount Union students across all disciplines, academic levels and abilities, and can help in any stage of the writing and oral presentation process. The trained consultants are experienced undergraduate writers and presenters from a variety of majors and minors who are prepared to help you brainstorm ideas, organize your thoughts into workable outlines, think through multimedia presentations, polish final drafts, and to help you cope with writer's block and speaking anxiety. Consultations are designed to help students become more independent, confident and efficient writers and speakers.

The CWOC is located in the Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center (KHIC), adjacent to the Library circulation desk. For more information, visit the CWOC website or contact Dr. Danielle Cordaro, director of the CWOC and assistant professor of English, at (330) 823-4893 or [email protected].

Fall 2014 Transportation and Arrival
The deadline to request transportation for Fall 2014 arrivals is Friday, July 25. This service is free to all international and out-of-state students and includes transportation to and from the Canton/Akron Airport, the Canton Bus Station and the Alliance Amtrak Station. More detailed information about transportation, including approved arrival and travel dates, can be found online. Please be sure to visit this site, as you must complete a transportation request form in order for your transportation to be provided. After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your pick up time.

If you have any questions, please contact us at (330) 823-2243.
