What You Need to Know from the Office of Business Affairs
|
If you haven't already, you will be receiving quite a bit of information from the Office of Business Affairs. This packet will include:
- Payment options brochure that will help you calculate your out-of-pocket tuition expenses for your first year.
- FERPA release that will allow the Office of Business Affairs to speak to only those persons you authorize (typically parents or guardians) about your tuition and payment arrangements.
- Federal Title IV Authorization form, which will allow the Office to use any federal monies you receive to cover the cost of tuition and board, as well as other miscellaneous fees you might incur, and to hold any credits on your account until a refund request is made.
- Tuition Payment Agreement, which is an agreement between the student and University regarding payment of tuition, room and board, costs, fees and expenses (if applicable). All students upon enrollment are subject to this agreement.
All three forms need to be signed and returned to the Office of Business Affairs by July 31. This sounds like a lot, but this is an important next step in becoming a Purple Raider, so be sure to look through the information carefully and return all necessary documents.
Please contact the Office with any questions at (330) 823-6557 or (330) 829-4137.

|
The deadline to request transportation for Fall 2014 arrivals is Friday, July 25. This service is free to all international and out-of-state students and includes transportation to and from the Canton/Akron Airport, the Canton Bus Station, and the Alliance Amtrak Station. More detailed information about transportation, including approved arrival and travel dates, can be found online. Please be sure to visit this site, as you must complete a transportation request form in order for your transportation to be provided. After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your pick up time.
If you have any questions, please contact us at (330) 823-2243. |
