Diversity and Inclusion
|
Mount Union's Office of Diversity and Inclusion serves as a resource for students of color including but not limited to, International Students, African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Native-Americans, as well as women, gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered individuals, allies, and qualified persons with disabilities. The office fosters an environment that celebrates and embraces diversity by providing programs, services and other educational opportunities that contribute to students' learning and growth. It also provides assistance for academic, social, cultural and personal well-being and works cooperatively with faculty, staff and administrators to assist students in their pursuit of academic excellence.

The office also supports various student organizations on campus including the Association of International Students (AIS), Association of Women Students (AWS), Black Student Union (BSU), Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), Hispanic Organization of Latino Americans (HOLA) and See The Ability (STAND).

Fall 2014 Transportation and Arrival
|
The deadline to request transportation for Fall 2014 arrivals is Friday, July 25. This service is free to all international and out-of-state students and includes transportation to and from the Canton/Akron Airport, the Canton Bus Station, and the Alliance Amtrak Station. More detailed information about transportation, including approved arrival and travel dates, can be found online. Please be sure to visit this site, as you must complete a transportation request form in order for your transportation to be provided. After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your pick up time.
