Graduation Gift Recommendations
|
Congratulations, future Raiders! I'm so excited that you have chosen Mount Union to spend the next four years. As a recent graduate, I promise you won't regret it! So now that you're saying 'so long' to high school and 'hello' to the college life, what gifts should be on your graduation wish list?
- UMU hoodie: Welcome to college, where it's completely acceptable to wear hoodies to class. Every. Single. Day. My favorite (and most comfy) hoodies are from the University Store at Mount!
- Purple Plu$ Credit: Money on your Purple Plu$ can buy you refreshing peach mango smoothies at B&B Cafe (obsessed), delicious blueberry muffins at the breakfast cart in KHIC Library or dinner at numerous restaurants off-campus that accept your Purple Plu$ (like Panera!).
- Planner: Staying organized is crucial in college! There are so many meetings, study groups and fun events to keep track of - you need a place to write it all down. (My favorites are from here and here).
- Rainboots: Rainboots are a necessity for your dreary day treks across campus (and stylish, may I add).
- Camera: As a new student, you'll want to capture all the memories of the next four years... your first Purple Raider football game, study abroad experience and intramural volleyball team included.
- Memo board: You'll be making countless, new memories at your home away from home, but also want reminders of family and old friends. Memo boards are super fun to decorate and have lots of photo space.
Get ready for the experience of a lifetime. You're going to love life as a Raider!
