Residence Life
|
Many of you have been asking how Mount Union will match you with a roommate, so here is some information about how the process works. You will be asked to complete a personal and interest preference form online via a program called MyHousing. The program will then use this information to find your best match among the other students who've already completed the form.
You can also use this system to make a specific roommate request after both you and your desired roommate have completed the form. As long as that person confirms your request by July 15, 2014, then you will be roommates!

Meal Plans |
Freshman students living in a residence hall or campus house are required to have a meal plan - either the unlimited plan or 16 meal plan with $100 dining dollars. The cost is the same, but the choice is yours!
Unlimited Plan
Students who choose this plan will be able to eat an unlimited number of meals in the Kresge Dining Commons.
16 Meal Plan
Students who choose this plan will be able to eat 16 meals a week in the Kresge Dining Commons. Dining dollars ($100) will be deposited on your Purple Plu$ and can be used to purchase food and beverages only at the B&B Cafe or Kresge Dining Commons. Dining dollars will not carry over between semesters or at year-end. Students will not be reimbursed for any remaining dining dollars at the end of a semester.
If a meal plan is not selected for the fall semester for a student who is living in a residence hall or campus house, the student's meal plan will default to the unlimited plan.
