Exceptional Connections Corner

"Connecting with alumni in D.C. and then meeting up with them while I was there for an internship was a great experience. They were able to give me insight about the city which was great because I am considering moving there once I graduate. I also loved hearing about their experience when they attended Mount and how much it meant to them. All the alumni I met were willing to help me with anything during my summer in D.C."
Zach McMurray '13

There are eager students ready to connect with you ... do you have time to join the family network of Raiders helping Raiders? Students are looking to connect with alumni for career mentoring, networking, graduate school advice or to make a connection to ask questions as they figure out their career path. We ask that you take a few minutes to register to become a resource for our students. Details about the program are online.

This online program is a joint effort between the offices of Alumni Relations and University Activities and Career Development. The initial launch is currently underway and is directed towards compiling the alumni portion of the database before students start registering this fall.

Alumni, parents, families and friends, come back and support (or stay connected through the website) all the good people and events taking place this fall.

Speaking of good people, you read in last month's issue that the office of Alumni Relations and The Mount Union Fund have become one, a marriage that makes sense on so many levels. We are so pleased to be working together toward our common goals in both offices. That being said, I am very pleased to announce that Tiffany Hogya has been promoted and named director of alumni relations and university activities and Katie Jones has also been promoted to assistant director of the Mount Union fund and alumni relations. Please join me in congratulating them both on their appointments. We are all very excited - and hope to see or hear from you soon.

GO RAIDERS!

All the best,
